Microsoft's Google-killer arrives with a 'whuh?' | The Register

It starts as a review of MSN Beta Search, (he pans it), but ends up as a thought provoking piece on the non technical aspects of what would really make search engines more useful.

From Andrew Orlowski of The Register: If the cult of "information" is as important as technophiliacs tell us it is, we need to develop social mechanisms, not fancier search engines, to get us to the Holy Land. Don't look to the privatized information scavengers of the web for answers.
