McCain Embraces Regulation After Many Years of Opposition - washingtonpost.com


McCain says, I was against it before I was for it.


McCain says, Seemed like a good idea at the time.


McCain says, My advisers were wrong to talk me into supporting financial industry deregulation ten years ago. It's clear now that regulation is the correct course. Now how should we do this? Okay, we'll advocate setting up a commission. Give them a couple of years to pass their recommendations to Congress and then let them chew on it for awhile. Oh yeah, mention the strength of the American worker too, talk them up, people like that inspirational stuff.
